Measurement: Do We Need It?
By admin
If it wasn’t for measurement the world would simply not be the same as it is today. Measurement level are certainly two really cool things that have helped us out a lot.
Money
Unfortunately money is one of the most important things in the world, the more money a nation has the better of they are and the higher ranking they are in the grand scheme of things. Without measurement there would be no way of telling on who had how much and why. Crime would go up almost instantly if there was no money as people would not care about what they took as everything would be essentially free. Measurement is important when it comes to money because they can work out important calculations like exchange rates and tax.
Medicine
How on earth would we know what to prescribe people if it wasn’t for measurement? The fact is we certainly wouldn’t and measurement is as important as without it we would see many more people die or overdose every single year. As a diabetic I think it is safe to say that without measurement there is almost no hope of survival so I really do need it.
Any Benefits From Not Having Measurement?
Well although I have been looking at what disadvantages we would have if we didn’t have the level transmitters and ultrasonic level measuring tools, would there actually be any advantages to not being able to measure anything?
School has to come into it a lot and there would be no need to sit in a lot of those very dull math classes which is always good news. The one thing that will not need to happen is people having to go out with the metre ruler sticks and the wheels counting up all of the measurements. On top of this algebra would most likely not need to exist, does it have a purpose now?
The problem with maths is that everyone hates it but we need it
