Toronto the most populated city in Canada!
By admin
Ontario is the one of the largest provinces in Canada, and it’s capital is Toronto. Thanks to tourism, Toronto has earned a status across the world, meaning that people across the globe have fallen in love with this glorious city. This city is on the east coast of Canada in the province called Ontario.
Almost 2 and half million people live in this city, making it the most populated city in Canada, and the fifth largest in North America. There are many factors that have made Toronto one of the biggest financial centres on the planet, one factor being tourism. Toronto is home to some of the most amazing wonders in the world, and has its very own unique ones to share. The best known Landmark in Toronto has got to be the Freestanding Canadian National Tower, it towers at around 554 metres tall.
There is a stadium called the Sports Stadia that was the first stadium across the globe to have the famous Retractable roof system. This stadium is home to at least two very big sports teams, the Blue Jays, and the Argonauts, the Blue jays play Baseball and the Argonauts play “Canadian Football”. This is one of the most famous stadiums in the world.
Toronto has many attractions but probably the biggest isn’t even in the city, it lies about fifty miles away and it is Niagara Falls. Toronto is the closest city and it has been named as its biggest attraction. 50 miles to see this beautiful waterfall isn’t that much of a trek, and a visit to Toronto means that you would have to visit.
Now if history and geology is your thing, then you should pay the Royal Ontario Museum a visit. Much like the natural history Museum in London (England), this one is split into several sections consisting of an Archaeology, Geology, mineralogy, palaeontology and zoology section. This makes it any history and geologists dream attraction.
Toronto holidays are well worth the while, and so are Vancouver holidays, which I will discuss in my next blog, Canada holidays are the new American holiday, which will you visit?
