MY UNCLE WANTS TO SETTLE DOWN IN THE PHILIPPINES. They brought their belongings with them. They gave away what they cannot bring, to friends and relatives. That’s where I got lucky. Being his favorite, he gave me his ol’ boat. It’s not a yacht, just a small wooden boat. But for little ol’ me, it’s like owning the “Titanic” already. Right now I am already planning what fun escapades me and my friends can enjoy in my new boat. Bad thing is I forgot all about my uncle’s advice. The mice control company, they are very important. I didn’t deemed it important that why I forgot all about it.

It’s mine and mine alone. The boat really needs to be painted. It’s seaworthy, but it needs some fixing. We will have our “maiden voyage” now. We brought clothes and – foods. We plan to be at the sea for three to four days. After this, we are aiming to go on a month long cruise.

We went sailing very early. We concentrated on navigating the boat. The boat is just moored a few miles from the coast. We intend to stay here as we clean the boat. We took advantage of the sun to clean our boat. The boat took on a new shine as we started to clean it up. Wow, it look nice already. We decided to rest ang go below. We are famished. We were taken aback when we got below. Everything is scattered. They ransacked everything. I remembered my uncle’s advise to have the boat looked over by the mice control company.

What a way to start our “maiden voyage”. The mice spoiled it all. We returned with all our heads bowed down. There’s nothing we can do about it. The important thing to do now is to call the mice control company and set up an appointment.
